Record Ridge Riding is new to the Kootenay area in British Columbia but not new to horses. Team members of Record Ridge Riding have made horses a part of their lives from childhood. The passion of horsemanship and the love of horses will be found amongst all our people.

Located on the backside of Rossland's Red Mountain, Record Ridge Riding has access to some of the most beautiful terrain in Canada.

Ken & Julie Drake

Spending years in the saddle together in various parts of Alberta and British Columbia experiencing the absolute beauty of nature's terrain, Ken and Julie are both so excited to offer their passion to others through Record Ridge Riding. Thoughts of Record Ridge Riding started well over 10 years ago as they began sharing horseback excursions with friends and family. Now wanting to share beyond that immediate circle, the founding of Record Ridge Riding is the start of offering this wonderful experience to others. Ken and Julie can't wait to take you and yours on a horseback

Dan Adamson

Dan Adamson is an experienced Guide and Outfitter in Western Canada. Dan has been a wilderness horseman most of his life, and his love for horses and beautiful scenic mountain country makes him an essential part of our team at Record Ridge Riding.

Janine Issel

Along with Ken, Janine Issel was born and raised in the wilderness of Rossland in the area known as "Drake's Loop". She has owned and ridden her own horses for the past 10 years; and as an active member of the Trail Horsemen's Society, Janine attends training clinics in horsemanship and shows her quarter horse in both English and Western Classes. As well, she enjoys the luxury of daily trail rides at her own hobby farm.
