Oh Ken, I just wanted to thank you for the great horseback ride,it was so great my husband Richard is considering going again which I didn't think he would,so you did a great job or was it Magnum who was great?, anyway he loved it. Also knowing some history was really great. Your horses were calm and relaxed for the ride and I think thats what makes for a wonderful experience for someone who hasn't rode before.I hope to see you soon.

Special Big Thank you
Ken and Julie I would like to thank you both for an awesome ride the other day. My Sister from Vancouver could't say enough and I had a smile on my face all day and wanted it to last forever. The tour was fantastic filled with information that without our trusty guides we never would have known of all the abandonded mines and the rich history of the valley. You two were wonderful and your horses were truly gentle giants and I think everyone ought to experience Record Ridge Riding as it brings you back to nature.
My son and I are definately coming back very soon and I am hoping to get the rest of the family to follow

Wonderful Day on the Seven Summits
I wanted to thank Ken and Julie for being so accomodating, calling last minute for a long weekend, they found a way to fit me in. A beautiful day on the Seven Summits trail while my friends were biking it, I enjoyed it on a sure-footed, calm horse. Beautiful meadows and scenery all around, absolutely unforgetable. Ken was a wonderful guide who knows the area and its history well. I will definitely recommend Record Ridge Riding to my friends and wish them all the best in continuing to develop top-notch trail riding and guiding in Rossland.

Ken! Thank you for the most wonderful horseback anniversary ride! Sigh. It was so wonderful. What a magnificent way to see the Kootenays, to look down on it on the back of a horse. Especially a nimble-footed, beautiful, willow leaf-snatching horse! We will remember the ride always, the flower bloom on the sunny summer slopes of Red mountain, the red iron earth, a butterfly flitting by, the creak of saddle leather, a bear den, a mouthful of sun-warmed Cabernet, a kiss, a photo, a horse fart. I feel like Ken is a friend of mine. Thank you so much again. We recommend Record Ridge Riding to all. xxoxoxoxo!

My husband Kevin, daughter, Madalyn and myself rode with Ken and Julie on July 4th and had an amazing ride and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Ken and Julie. It was Kevin and Madalyn's second time riding with the two, but my first time and certainly not our last. Can't wait to come back this winter for a sleigh ride.

Lovely ride to the Gertrude Mine
Thanks Julie and Ken for a fabulous ride to the Gertrude mine. This was a perfect ride for my nine year old daughter and I as we are beginner riders but liked the confidence you showed in us taking us through the forest on interesting small trails along the slope to and from the site. The local history of Rossland is so rich, it was great to learn about it while we were riding enjoying the fantastic mountain and forest scenery. Ruthanne from Toronto

My boyfriend, his son and I had an awesome ride. We have been on a couple rides and the history in the area is amazing. Thank you Julie and Ken for the ride(s) up the back of Red Mountain, through the Gertrude mine and your awesome knowledge of the area. Being an amateur at horseback riding, the experience was great (love ya Classy).

I really loved horse back riding and was really glad that my sister joanna loved it and it was a great birthday present. She probably would of preferred not to see the cat eat a chipmunk lol. I was going to plan to do another birthday there with a friend but didn't work out in my favor. I'm hoping to be able to do the five hour trip soon!!! Well keep in touch hope to be back up there soon!!!

Hello Ken and Julie,
We want to thank you again for a great ride. We really enjoyed ourselves today, taking the 2 hour tour with you Ken. It was really worth every penny being entertained by you Ken with the background information on the mining history of Red mountain. Meanwhile you gave us a really nice tour around Red mountain with the steap tracks and the stunning vieuws. For us two, not being the most experienced horsebackriders, it was good fun with two horses that gave us a safe feeling riding them. Even we can tell that they are very well trained animals. So, thanks again to Magnum and Tally who make us smile remembering this day.

The incredible ride up Red Mountain was the highlight of my niece Jessica's visit to BC. We were both impressed with the excellent condition & training of the horses as well as Ken's knowledge of horses & local history. I'll definitely be bringing our out of province visitors to Record Ridge Riding in the future. Definitely the way to see the Kootenays. Thanks Ken & Taylor for the wonderful day! Sharon

Hey there Julie and Ken,
I was so pleased to finally get everyone in family up and onto a horse! I've loved horses forever and I've always wanted them to enjoy them as much as I do, or at least show them how much fun riding can be. You guys really made it enjoyable and a day to remember. We all had so much fun, while being able to appreciate the great outdoors and eachother. :) Your horses were super well trained which made it a positive adventure for everyone, even for my totally beginner parents! Overall a beautiful place, beautiful horses, and two people with beautiful souls. Thanks so much for the wonderful experiece!

Just wanted to say thank you again and how great it was meeting you both. The ride was incredible. It always amazes me just how little we get to see in our own back yards. I've lived in the Kootenays my whole life and yet I am still amazed by the beauty and the places I have yet to see, and what better way than on horseback. My daughter and I had one of the nicest days together, it was great seeing and hearing how much fun she had as well. Thank you helping in that.
It was nice to be back in the saddle. I would recommend you to anyone who wants to experience the veiws, the horses and the company!

What an amazing ride!! Can't thank you enough for your friendliness and knowledge. We live here and still learned a lot. The horses were wonderful and in such great shape(obviously well loved and cared for). We are looking forward to the next two rides before we take on the challenge of the Seven Summits. When my cousin suggested horseback riding during my visit to Trail I was so excited, but couldn't have imagined how amazing it was going to be! Thank you all for putting me at ease (having never been horseback riding before). The scenery was beautiful, the company was great and there were lots of laughs. Classy is a great horse and I look forward to riding the trails with her and everyone again!

Thank you for such an enjoyable ride, the horses are in beautiful condition and have extremely good temperament. A credit to all involved at Record Ridge Riding. We did a 5 hour ride. The scenery was absolutely amazing, Ken & his family having lived here in Rossland for a couple of generations are a wealth of information. On a horseback ride on Red & the back of Roberts you see many mines, Ken knows the name of every single one! You get a view and feel of how it must have been back in the mining days. The claw marks of bears on certain trees are relevant throughout the ride! Having this facility available here in Rossland is fabulous for the area - Horse riding is a must do if you come to Rossland.
