Gertrude Mine (Beginner)

Great for the beginner, this ride up the back-side of Rossland's Red Mountain offers easy terrain yet gets you to the saddle between Red mountain and Granite mountain to experience a great view of the Columbia valley in the kootenays.  You'll experience a bit of Rossland's mining history as we pass by mining pits and an old mine site all while taking in nature's beauty of this area.  This trail has handled many "first-time" riders so don't hesitate to take in the awe of this horseback experience.
